Verde River - Beasley Flat to Gap Creek
This section is the Whitewater day run on the Verde River. This section has many class 2 and class 3 rapids. Putin at Beasley Flat and Take out at Gap Creek. Minimum recommended flow rate is 300cfs(but you can find hard-up locals on it at 150cfs). Optimum flow rate for fun class 3 is between 1000 and 3000 cfs. This section is known for the Verde pre-falls and Verde Falls. Both can be(and should be)scouted on the left. They are also easily portaged on the left as well if need be. The take out require's a 1/2 mile hike out to the parking lot on FR574.

When planning on storm runoff - it takes about 24 to 30 hrs for runoff to
get from Clarkdale to Camp Verde.
RAP's
Beasley Flat - Turn South off Hwy 260 onto Salt Mine Rd 0.2 mile from bridge. Take FR574 8.4 miles to FR334(end of pavement). Take FR334 3 miles to beasley flat. For map of this road check Here
Gap Creek - This take out is easy to miss. It requires a 1/2 mile hike out to the parking lot at the end of FR574. Recommended you go with someone who has done this before the first time you run this section.
